If I were to go to a new society in the world and I had two more choices besides the Bible to bring, I would bring the text book called Calculus and analytic Geometry by the Houghton Mifflin College Division and Websters Third New International Dictionary by Marriam-Webster. If I brought Calculus and analytic Geometry, then the new society would have knowledge of the sciences. They would be able to advance somewhere in society and actually be educated. Without this, they would still be in the stone ages and not be able to have an actual society. With knowledge of the numbers, they would be able to construct most anything they wanted. With Websters Third New International Dictionary in their hands, their speech could become unlimited. This dictionary has all of the words in the english language and could improve their literary skills. They would be able to consult with other societies and trade their goods. In order for them to learn how to talk I would have to only teach them the pronunciations of words. They would then be able to put words together to make sentences. They would already know almost every word in only a couple years (maybe two) when it took us much longer to come up with a defined english language in the U.S.
